Race Director Announcement
The Hebridean Challenge is delighted to announce that the Race Director for 2008 will be Paul Corrigan MBE. He will be well known to those of you who have attended the plethora of Scottish events that Paul has organised.
"I am absolutely delighted and genuinely very honoured to be the Race Director for the 2008 Hebridean Challenge. I have always been aware of this prestigious event but never had the opportunity to enter but I now look forward greatly to being involved and playing my part in both maintaining the traditions of the Heb and hopefully adding something as well. I can't wait to be there and look forward to meeting up with competitors, helpers, fellow organisers and local residents in the near future and doing my very best to make the 2008 Heb Challenge enjoyable, rewarding and exciting for everyone."
Paul Corrigan
"We'd like to offer our very grateful thanks to John Armstrong who has Directed the past two very successful "Hebs" and kept everyone safe during these. We are grateful for all his input and happy to know that John may return to help with a future Heb. The event offers a very warm welcome to Paul Corrigan, who comes to us highly recommended by those who have taken part in his events and for whom we have high hopes of helping us develop our event in a direction beneficial to competitors, sponsors and community trust members alike."
